Our commitment
Images of Antarctica is committed to the environment. Last year, with the help of our calendar supporters, we were able to donate money to Greening Australia and help plant over 600 new trees in rural Tasmania. These trees will replace the paper used in our calendar production process many times over.
Our 2007 calendars are proudly sponsored by Spicers Paper. We use Spicer's Monza satin paper in our calendars and cards. Monza has a high 55% recycled content, including 25% post-consumer and 30% pre-consumer waste, 45% sustainable plantation wood and is Elemental Chlorine Free (ECF). Fibre used in the manufacture of Monza is Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Certified.
Monza is manufactured by one of the world's leading paper producers, Cartiere Burgo. Burgo operates under the coveted ISO 14001 Environmental Certification and (IPPC) Integrated Pollution Prevention Control.
